These are some comments about our music from around the world -
Gene shared a link on your Wall. Hi Patricia! Your CD "Who's Watching" is really nice!!! I wish you well with it! http://www.dennison-music.com/ And the reissue of "Refuge" (with 15 bonus tracks(!!!)) transports me back to the day I first got the record when I heard it playing in a store and had to have it. It's of its time, which is the best thing about it! --Timeless. It captures the time and delivers it to the soul once again. --Like opening a time capsule and finding a memory so completely preserved. Wonderful! :)

Great to hear you are still recording music. The "Refuge" LP is timeless...and also has great QS Quadraphonic sound. It's too bad Heaven And Earth didn't release more LPs in this vein, but it is great to see this LP reissued on CD with 15 bonus tracks (via Lion Records). Looking forward to hearing it in CD-form.

Re: Heaven & Earth
Hello Patricia,
Yes, I love the Heaven and Earth album. Do you ever still play and sing together?
I used to play in a group called The Autumn Leaves, we put out three albums, and now I'm a band called The Fairfield Ramblers. I'm the nervous guy singing lead..........

David: Heaven & Earth Hello Pat, I bought "Heaven and Earth" a few weeks ago on vinyl, and I must say it's amazing, I've been listening to it pretty much every day since. I heard your new song on youtube and it's really wonderful too! I played in a group called The Autumn Leaves, and I'm now in a group called The Fairfield Ramblers, music is a great way to enjoy life. I hope all is well, Take Care, David

Gene Godfrey 4:28pm Aug 18 Very nice, Patricia! :) I'm glad you heard my show... wondering which one or ones you may have heard. As for the interview, I'm available weekends only due to work during the week. looking forward to speaking with both of you about such a cherrished, endearing and special album in my life, and current music. Keep me posted. :)

Gene Godfrey 5:47pm Aug 19 David is from a New York City power pop band called The Rosenbergs. I don't believe they're together anymore. Great guy. There are more "In The Studio" segments but not all are in order due to how they're listed... a minor flaw but I don't do that part! lol! Down in the list alphabetically are more Classic FMs and In The Studios. I'm not sure I hear Genesis in Heaven And Earth either. In the next several shows I'm getting to all their non-album tracks... The extras, not the various live things. Some very rare. I'm anxious to hear more of your Heaven And earth extras... you mentioned a non-released album... exciting news! Btw, I didn't find Lion Products about the CD release. Have a great evening! Cheers! --Gene :)

Gene Godfrey Hello again, Pat! Thx for the link. The tracks are quite nice... "Open My Eyes" is already a favorite of mine at just one listen. :) I'm very excited to hear the unreleased disc and get the rerelease of Refuge. I see you're in NY... I'm in south Jersey by Philly. Is there a chance, at an appropriate time, to meet and discuss the tracks for my show? I can add the music later, unless you'd like to play and sing a few live, in which case you'd need to be here... I record at home. You may bring accompaniment. It's acoustic, although keys can be plugged in if need be. ==There's time for that. I think Jo lives much farther... I'd love to have you both on the show. I'm very open to music and have no boss, not being involved in any way with commercial radio. I'm very dedicated to the artist and the early FM atmosphere just brings out so much more in the artists. --All for your consideration. Let me know your thoughts. :) I cover many genres but I so love painting a musicscape on the canvas of the listener's mind. Thx for writing back. Best to you! --Gene

Gene Godfrey here, Host/Producer of Classic FM I assume you're the pat gefell with Jo D Andrews who did the very endearing Heaven And Earth album Refuge. I found Jo last year on FB and she mentioned it may be reissued on CD at some point soon??? I wish I could have you both on my show to chat and play a few of the tunes. Anyway, "Voice In The Wind" has been a featured tune on my show since I started it in '79. (and other tunes). i LOVE the record to this day. My show has been on demand since I left terrestrial radio 2 years ago. I was in and out of commercial and non-commercial radio doing the show as I always have, preserving the free-form atmosphere of early FM, but finally have complete freedom now. I saw you on Jo's page and wanted to say hello and convey my love for this record. I wish you well. Gene Godfrey, Host/Producer of Classic FM The Album-Friendly Intimacy Of Progressive FM Radio Since 1979 With Exclusive Interviews -- Any volume, anytime on demand, and a new show every Wed in the live stream exclusively on Radio That Doesn't Suck

From: Adam July 06, 2011 Subject: Re: Heaven and Earth Hi Patrica, Thank you very much for your answer! I also have to ask about which your main musical influenses were? Was it only you and Jo D. Andrews who were members of Heaven and Earth? Were there any plans for a second album? Great news to hear that the album will be re-released. I will definately look out for it. It is great to hear that you are recording more music. I like all your new songs a lot. Very good guitarr playing and singing. Is it you both on guitarr and song? It sounds like there are two voices? My favourite song is probably "Winter Blue" for its very dreaming and delightful atmosphere. The guitarr playing on "January" is very expressive and melodic with several layers. "Rita Rose" sounds very happy and is also very good and nice to listen to. I hope these songs will be released! I actually ordered "Who's Watching" on cd. Thank you very much for sharing my email with Jo D. Andrews, very kind. Keep up the good work! Best regards, Adam

From: Adam on July 03, 2011 Subject: Heaven and Earth Dear Patricia, I found the record "Heaven and Earth" at a second hand record store a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely stunned by the music. Especially "Jenny", "Song for Craig" and also the cover of Bob Dylan's "Tomorrow is a Long Time". I hope you won't mind me asking a few questions about it. If I understand correctly you are the Pat Geffell who is credited as writer of most of the songs on the record? Are you also one of the singers on the record? I would also be very happy to hear who is the other singer the harmonies are fantastic, and who is playing? It is very good guitarr playing for example and the atmosphere on the songs is terrific. Some of the songs are also co-written by you and Jo D. Andrews who is that? I would also be glad to hear other things about the record for example how it was recorded and where and also produced and so on. Did you record anything more? Did you tour anything? I have later found some info about the record in the book "Fuzz Acid And Flowers Revisited - A Comprehensive Guide to American Garage, Psychedlic and Hippie-rock (1963-1977)". I look forward to your answers! Yours sincerely, Adam
